Isabelle's parents were kind enough to let me photograph her as we shared a taxi to the hotel. Her eyes hold this bold, innocent, curiousness that tell a story of their own. This one photo made me realize how much I enjoy photographing children. They have a natural genuineness and ease that can not posed.
Light, water, architecture, and dusk are my favorite elements. This photo combines them all in a glorious setting. This spontaneous island getaway goes down as one of my best trips of all time. I decided on Tuesday that I was going that weekend. I tried ALL the food, discovered conch chowder, and reignited my love for a great Rum. My island roots were showing, literally. I wore my natural curls and felt the freedom of the wind and water. ...but I won't scare you with photos of my "curly afro".
