My Mentor

He has a brilliant mind, is creative, and well read.  He inspires me to pursue my loves, encourages me to release any doubts or fears,  and won't let me make excuses.  He is one of Houston's top photographers, artists and creative minds, yet he makes time to teach and encourage me. I appreciate him for seeing something in me, that at times, I don't see in myself. :)

Nature's Jungle Gym

Nature can be so massive at times. Yet, in the playful mind of children it is a place to exlore and climb.  This glorious set of trees is located at Baldwin Park in Midtown Houston and must be hundreds of years old.   Often, I go there for solice. 

Rodeo Houston

 

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a major event.  It is the largest Livestock and Rodeo in the United States.  Last year over 2.1 million people attended events.  The festivities not only include BBQ and the actual rodeo competition, but also a parade, a carnival, wine tasting competition and nightly concerts. Much fun!  This year Janet Jackson performed at HLSR and Ms. Jackson put on one amazing show!

Take Me Out to the Ball Park

On a beautiful Saturday morning I had the amazing experience of being at Minute Maid Park. The gentle breeze allowed me to be alone with my thoughts and feel the energy.
